Minimal: The recommendations are for users with existing equipment; these are not recommended for the purchase of new equipment.
Optimal: The recommendations are for average users (e.g. office staff); high-end users should consider specific requirements of other applications that will be used.
* Although 56Kps dial-up connections may be sufficient for users accessing ROPOnline to occasionally print forms, etc., dial-up connections will be slow and should not be relied upon as a principle method for accessing the system. A broadband connection (via a school Local Area Network or a DSL or Cable Modem) should be used as a principle method for accessing the system.
**In
addition to MS Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, MacroMedia Flash Player (7) and Adobe
Reader (5 or higher) are also required to fully utilize all the features
in the ROPOnline system.

Setting Up ROP Staff Accounts New staff coming into ROP assignments in school districts and programs using ROPOnline will also need to complete a Technical Skills Survey. (Link to on-line Technology Skills Survey.)
Based on their responses to the Technology Skills Survey, ROP staff will be scheduled into workshops where they will learn to use the ROPOnline system.
During training ROP Staff will be given individual User IDs and Passwords and will be taught how to login to the system.
